We have decided to wait until after the major competitions to hold our first Top End Barra Series social catch up and presentation. This event be held on Sunday, June the 9th between 4pm and 6pm. We will meet back at our usual spot at the end of Chapman Rd, where it intersects with Casuarina Drive. Please make an effort to get there, socialise and meet/greet new faces. A sausage sizzle will be arranged and as usual there will be a number of lucky door prizes up for grabs. Don’t forget to bring a chair or a mat to sit on. I plan to have the 2017 Shirt packs available to pick up on Wednesday this week. The packs are still minus the hats unfortunately and a delivery time-frame is still unknown for them.
Given the weather at the moment I will use one of the covered bbq shelters at the Jingili Water Gardens in Freshwater Road. Most likely the one near the colourful covered play equipment if it is not being used. I plan to be there from 4.45pm until around 6.45pm.
If you are unable to make it please let me know by email so that I can make alternative hand over arrangements.
I realise a lot of people are in the Palmerston & rural area so an option is for me to go to somewhere like Marlows at a similar time on Thursday to hand them out if that is easier for you lot. I plan be out that way visiting the Tacklebox on Thursday anyway.
As previously advised I will not be in town from Friday this week and am returning on the 19th. That gives me a couple of days before Round 1 to get out the leftover bags.
More on Round 1 later this week.Read More »

Come down, bring the family bring a chair, rug and a beverage of choice and come and relax and catch up with each other for one last time this year.

I have been at Ross’s this morning, we have some shopping to do and end of year prize list will be announced on Friday.
We looked at a couple of indoor venues, but speaking to a few competitors on the weekend, most preferred the BYO option on a Saturday afternoon and with rain predicted not to occur on Saturday this is what we have gone with.
Hope to see you all there under the trees on Saturday.
Round 6 Results will be up later tonight.
Hi, the Rounds 4 , 5 & 6 Presentations will be held at the same time as the End of Year get together. This is not the norm and I regret the delay.
The End Of Year presentation will be the weekend after the Harbour Round.
More details on this next week when timing and venue is sorted.
If you want to pick up anything earlier email me at email@example.com to sort out.Read More »
